Paris, also called "the city of lights", is an ideal place to learn more about French culture and art, to have fun, and to stroll around soaking up the atmosphere and admiring the beautiful architecture of the city. Places to visit include :

The campus Le Rocheton is near Melun, the city of the Capetian kings in the 15th century. The surrounding region is rich in cultural heritage -in particular the famous Château of Fontainebleau- and its natural beauty with its vast and forests with centennial trees.

The Fontainebleau forest is paradise for trekkers or bikers and beginner hikers. The forest is full of rocks which allow beginners and experts to try out clifhanging.

Melun is also very close from Paris: 30 minutes by train take you to the Gare de Lyon, right in the centre of the city.

The campus Bois d'Auteuil is located in Villescresnes, a small residential town 25 km south of Paris.
